August has arrived – in Dalmatia, it has always been marked with Ferragosto and a great number of Italian guests who come to our islands and coast. To make a stronger connection with dear neighbours through quality movies, this August Kino Mediteran is organizing the program of Italian films - “Ferragosto in Kino Mediteran”. The program is taking place with partnership of the Italian Cultural Institute in Zagreb.
We have prepared the best Italian movies from the last year: a romantic comedy “Emma”, a mysterious thriller “Sicilian Ghost Story”, a musical about mafia “Love and Bullets” declared for the best Italian movie of the year, and “Call Me By Your Name” – the winner of this year's Academy Award for Best Writing Adapted Screenplay.
The programme “Ferragosto in Kino Mediteran” is going to take place in our digital cinemas Bol (Saturday), Split – Bačvice Open Air Cinema, and Hvar (Sundays), Supetar (Monday), and Komiža (Tuesday).
The rest of our cinemas will also take place in the programme: Lastovo, Jelsa, and Sutivan with “Emma”, “Love and Bullets”, and “Sicilian Ghost Story”, Makarska and Mljet with “Emma” and “Sicilian Ghost Story”, and Pučišća, Korčula, Omiš and Trogir with “Emma”.
The exact dates, screening time and more details about movies can be found on our internet page by choosing the city that interests you.
