The new season of Kino Mediteran began with last night's screening of ALADDIN in Komiža, and during the next month we'll be opening the rest of our 29 cinemas in Kino Mediteran towns.

Digital cinemas will be opened every day this summer, in Split, Komiža, Hvar, and the brand new digital cinema in Jelsa with its first season and the latest digital equipment.

Kino Mediteran ended 2018 with a record number of 48.628 visitors! This is the total number of visitors collected from 26 cities, 702 screenings and 126 films. There was an average of 69 visitors per screening, which is an impressive number even for bigger cinemas and cities than ours.

And while we were carefully collecting our statistics, with the beginning of the new year, wonderful news came from Ministry of Culture. Thanks to the successful application of Kino Mediteran and the Centre for culture and lifelong learning - Zlatna vrata, we were given funds in the amount of HRK300 000 to equip Kino Bačvice.
